I am a Registered Social Worker and have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I have worked in various agencies and hospital-based settings where I have supported children, adolescents and adults with varying mental health challenges.
My undergraduate degree in Psychology helped me better understand the complexities of human interactions with others and ourselves and I’ve been deeply passionate about it ever since. I explored the world of teaching, but my interest in psychotherapy and supporting people in this way, became evident and something I knew I had to pursue.
I draw from a wide variety of therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices. My hope is that you feel safe and listened to while working with me to achieve your personal and therapeutic goals.
